Dr. Julianna Hynes is a credentialed global executive coach, advisor, and author with a strong focus on women's leadership and professional advancement. She is renowned for guiding her clients from passive career paths to intentional, strategic leadership. Through coaching, she helps individuals build confidence, develop key leadership skills, and position themselves for greater opportunities.

Dr. Hynes’s early career shaped much of her passion and expertise. As a young, Black, recently divorced single mother in a white-male-dominated organization, she faced significant challenges. Her hard work and academic qualifications were not enough to secure advancement, as she encountered hidden barriers and unwritten rules that limited her progression. These experiences revealed a deeper need for equitable leadership development and support.

Motivated by these struggles, Dr. Hynes committed herself to helping others—especially Black women—overcome similar obstacles. She supports leaders in developing underutilized but essential skills like communication, motivation, strategic thinking, and relationship-building. Her goal is to empower her clients to thrive and advance in their careers, even within complex and often inequitable workplace environments.

Her book, Leading on Purpose: The Black Woman’s Guide to Shattering the Glass Ceiling, draws from her doctoral research into the success strategies of accomplished Black executive women. It offers practical principles, tools, and insights that can benefit any leader looking to grow, elevate their career, and lead with intention and authenticity.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hynes has worked with professionals across various industries and experience levels, from individual contributors to senior executives. Her coaching has led to tangible results such as promotions, stronger leadership competencies, and improved workplace relationships. She combines personal experience, academic insight, and a supportive coaching style to help her clients feel more confident, empowered, and ready to reach their full professional potential.
